What Is Legacy Link

More Than an Activity.
A Meaningful Experience.

A guided group conversation program that gives residents space to reflect, share, and preserve their stories across four meaningful phases — building toward a completed personal Legacy Journal.

4
Phases · Ongoing Program
Storytelling-Centered

Every resident has a story worth telling. Each session creates a warm, guided space for residents to share life experiences — no pressure, no clinical assessment.

Legacy Partner

At intake, every resident designates a Legacy Partner — a family member or close friend who joins the journey from the very first session, contributing photos, memories, and meaningful connection alongside their loved one.

Professionally Facilitated

Every session is led by a trained Legacy Link facilitator — warm, consistent, and deeply committed to each resident and their story.

Builds Toward Something Real

Each phase contributes to a completed Legacy Journal — a personal keepsake families will treasure for generations.

Ongoing Engagement

After the Legacy Journal is complete, Phase 4 keeps residents engaged with continuing enrichment sessions — the community built never stops growing.

Flexible by Design

The program is built around your residents and your facility — sessions, pacing, and content are always adapted to fit your community's unique needs.

Each week residents receive a guided prompt to reflect on at home — a question, a memory, a moment worth capturing. They bring their thoughts back to the group the following session, where stories are shared and connections deepen. Every resident is supported by a Legacy Partner — a family member or close friend who joins the journey alongside them, helping preserve photos and meaningful memories in a personal digital archive that belongs to the family forever.
The Program

Four Phases. One Lasting Legacy.

Legacy Link is a continuing program — Phases 1 through 3 build the resident's Legacy Journal, and Phase 4 keeps the enrichment going long after the Legacy Journal is complete.

1
Foundations
Residents explore their roots, early life, the people who shaped them, and the world they grew up in.
2
Life's Work, Love & Belief
Residents share their career, relationships, faith, and the experiences that defined who they became.
3
Wisdom & Legacy
Residents capture their hard-won wisdom, write letters to loved ones, and bring their personal Legacy Journal to completion. This phase closes with a Legacy Journal Celebration Ceremony — a meaningful community event to which families are invited to gather and celebrate together. Residents are welcome to share a favorite memory or reflection from their journal if they choose.
4
Continuing Enrichment
Once the Legacy Journal is complete, ongoing group sessions keep residents engaged, connected, and looking forward to every week.

From the Founder

Why Legacy Link Exists

Legacy Link was founded in memory of my parents — two people whose lives were full of stories, wisdom, and moments that shaped everything about who I am and who our family became.

When I watched loved ones enter senior living communities, I noticed something that stayed with me: the activities were plentiful, but the deeper conversations — the ones about a life truly lived — rarely had a home. There was no structured space where a resident could sit down, reflect, and say this is who I am, this is what I lived through, and this is what I want you to know.

Legacy Link was designed to be that space.

It is not therapy. It is not recreation. It is simply a place where residents are given the time, the structure, and the gentle encouragement to remember — and to share. The moments that shaped them. The people they loved. The hard times they survived and the good times they never want to forget.

Because those stories matter. They matter to the families who will carry them forward. They matter to the grandchildren who will one day open a leather journal and read their grandmother's handwriting for the first time. And they matter to the residents themselves — who deserve to know that their story is worth telling, and that someone is there to listen.

That is Legacy Link. Built with love. Built with purpose. Built so that no story gets left behind.
